This is a stop motion animation film about a little girl Eli, the imaginary monster Bimzal and the fabulous world they discover while looking for a medicine to cure Eli's little brother Nicola. Following the magic Path, Eli succeeds in getting over her fear to accept the truth about herself and learns a lesson that helps her find out the precious Water of Life and save her little brother.
Through 3D animation technique, Eli, Bimzal and the Water of Life tells us about the beautiful little child Eli's world. She has a great secret - the imaginary and "almost" unreal fantastic monster Bimzal, her best, faithful friend.
Eli and Bimzal is a contemporary fairy-tale which brings us to the world of children's fantasies, dreams and imagination. There, even the most terrible monster can be very funny, the most difficult obstacles can be easily overcome by unbelievable means. All this followed by many tears, much laugh and heroic actions.
