"Sidi Kaba - Guardians of the 1000 Kingdoms" is a 2D cooperative platform-puzzle video game designed for casual gamers, accompanying the release of the animated film "Sidi Kaba and the gateway home". Set in locations parallel to the film's events, this game is artistically directed by Fabrice Nzinzi. It's the first game developed through a partnership between Special Touch Studios and École de Condé Marseille, where students in 2D-3D Animation/Cinematography contribute to the playable prototype of a transmedia video game based on Rony Hotin's (Director and Screenwriter) and Jérôme Piot's (Screenwriter) animated film universe. While sharing the diegetic universe, the game and the film tell different stories, with autonomous narrative choices prioritizing gameplay. In G1000G, events occur concurrently with the film, focusing on twins Abi and Iba. As Sidi pursues his brother's captors, the twins stay behind, learning courage throughout the game, vowing to protect their village and human life.
