In a dystopian future, freedom and privacy are lost. Except in Subtopia, an online kids game where your fuzzy avatar can roam free. But greed and hate have infected the sunny hills and cuddly creatures, revealing darker secrets below. When a friend goes missing, four adventurers must suit up as their motley avatars (a funny fox, a film noir private eye, a fire-breathing dragon and a hammer-wielding manic-pixie-dream-girl) to battle Subtopia’s ugliest dangers – vicious digital mafia, fanatical techno-cult and covert government agents. What they discover will not only free their friend, but may also give mankind a future to believe in.
