After a luxurious summer fostered by a family on vacations, young cat Chantal is back at the streets of the seaside touristic village, now a ghost-town ahead of winter. Persuaded of her domesticated nature, she sets on an odyssey across the small, Greek island in search of the right human to adopt her, along with the few remaining strays in the village. Surviving in the wild in the company of fellow felines, Chantal discovers both the struggles and the joys of a stray life, as well as animal instincts previously unknown to her. Thus, when she finally meets the one, the island’s charming young vet, she will have to question her true nature once more before indulging in a life indoors.
