August Film is a new­ly found­ed film dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny aim­ing to bring the Roman­ian pub­lic a wide range of film titles, with a spe­cial approach towards the art-house seg­ment. More specif­i­cal­ly, we want to add empha­sis to heart­felt pro­duc­tions one would be eager to rec­om­mend to the peo­ple clos­est to him. With an added back­ground of more than 10 years in the film dis­tri­b­u­tion and film fes­ti­val busi­ness, we are here to enjoy the ride and bring a per­son­al touch to the industry.

Found­ed by expe­ri­enced film dis­tri­b­u­tion spe­cial­ists Şte­fan Bradea and Mon­i­ca Felea, Bad Uni­corn is an ambi­tious auteur film dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny, also pro­vid­ing com­plete pro­gram­ming, mar­ket­ing and pub­lic­i­ty ser­vices to Roman­ian fea­tures. The first dis­trib­uted film was the Berli­nale Gold­en Bear win­ner ​“On Body and Soul”, fol­lowed by acclaimed titles such as ​“Close”, ​“After­sun” & ​“Past Lives”. VAF sup­ports films, series and games, from idea to expe­ri­ence and a part of the fund’s annu­al bud­get is allo­cat­ed for pro­fes­sion­al training.

Folkets Bio is an art-house dis­trib­u­tor in Swe­den that have been in busi­ness since 1973. With­in the art-house and inde­pen­dent scene, we look for films in all gen­res, for all ages, and also to find and stim­u­late new tal­ent. Every year, we release around 25 fea­ture films and 15-20 short films the­atri­cal­ly. Our lat­est ani­ma­tion releas­es are ​“Lat­te Igel and the Mag­ic Water­stone”, ​“Shooom’s Odyssey”, ​“Wolfwalk­ers” and ​“The Breadwinner”.

France tv dis­tri­b­u­tion works with pro­duc­ers and licen­sors to max­imise pro­grammes across all media plat­forms encom­pass­ing video, VoD and music pub­lish­ing, mer­chan­dis­ing, mag­a­zine and book pub­lish­ing, plus French and inter­na­tion­al dis­tri­b­u­tion and fund-rais­ing. Script con­sult­ing and film val­ue opti­mis­ing is the core busi­ness of Inter­na­tion­al Script & Sales Co. Kid­jo is 100% a user-friend­ly SVoD app expe­ri­ence for chil­dren that requires min­i­mal parental inter­fer­ence. Kid­jo TV, Sto­ries and Games pro­vide more than 600 hours of con­tent with more than 4,000 videos, sto­ries and games, and give chil­dren full con­trol of what they want to watch, lis­ten or play with­in a safe envi­ron­ment. Born in 1989, Out­sider Dif­fu­sion was one of the first inde­pen­dent com­pa­nies to release Japan­ese ani­me in France. Over the years, Out­sider has devel­oped activ­i­ties in con­sult­ing, acqui­si­tion and book­ing of movie theatres.

Out­sider Films is a films dis­trib­u­tor cre­at­ed by three pro­fes­sion­als in the Por­tuguese mar­ket, based in Lis­bon. It oper­ates in the seg­ment of inde­pen­dent movies. Out­sider Films is now releas­ing 14 to 16 films per year with a spe­cial focus on ani­ma­tion. Last ani­mat­ed movies released in the last 4 years: ​“Check­ered Nin­ja 1”, ​“Lat­te and the Mag­ic Water­stone”, ​“Seal Team”, ​“Paws of Fury”, ​“Check­ered Nin­ja 2”, ​“The Boy and The Heron”, ​“Gra­cie and Pedro” and ​“Zack & Wowo - La Légende de Lendarys”.

Paname Dis­tri­b­u­tion is a French dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny cre­at­ed in 2013 by Lau­rence Gachet. The com­pa­ny dis­trib­utes 6 to 8 films a year and pro­motes art-house films, half are French and the oth­er half are for­eign films.

Play­time is a Paris-based inter­na­tion­al dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny active since 1997, also active in pro­duc­tion of fea­ture films and series. Each year, Play­time launch­es approx­i­mate­ly 15 new films in the most pres­ti­gious fes­ti­vals. Play­time is known for the qual­i­ty of its artis­tic choic­es and world­wide suc­cess­es such as ​“Son of Paul”, ​“BPM (Beats Per Minute)”, ​“Paris 13th Dis­trict”, ​“The Crime Is Mine”, ​“About Dry Grass­es”, includ­ing ani­mat­ed films like ​“A Cat in Paris”, ​“Louise by the Shore” or ​“The Black Pharaoh, the Sav­age and the Princess” by Michel Ocelot.

Poly­film is an Aus­tri­an-based dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny, in the busi­ness since the 1980s. Focused on art-house films, doc­u­men­taries and ani­ma­tion. The com­pa­ny also runs two art-house the­atres in Vien­na, the Film­casi­no and Filmhaus Kino.

Pyra­mide is both a French dis­trib­u­tor and an inter­na­tion­al sales com­pa­ny based in Paris. As a French dis­trib­u­tor, Pyra­mide releas­es 15 art­house titles a year and is one of the biggest inde­pen­dent French dis­trib­u­tors. As a world sales agent, Pyra­mide Inter­na­tion­al delib­er­ate­ly focus on the films d’auteur, will­ing to pro­mote abroad films by 1st-time direc­tors and expe­ri­enced film­mak­ers and their pro­duc­ers who have trust­ed the company.

The Occ­i­tanie Region aims to strength­en the film indus­try and the cul­tur­al dynam­ics on its ter­ri­to­ry. The Region sup­ports film­mak­ers by pro­vid­ing finan­cial assis­tance for devel­op­ment and pro­duc­tion and offers sup­ports to film fes­ti­val and film mar­kets. This approach also includes a film edu­ca­tion pro­gram, as well as a sup­port to film her­itage through the Ciné­math­èque de Toulouse and the Jean Vigo Institute.

SC Films Inter­na­tion­al was found­ed by Simon Crowe and financier Matthew Joynes in Lon­don in 2008. SC Films is a sales, finance and dis­tri­b­u­tion com­pa­ny spe­cial­is­ing in ani­ma­tion fea­tures includ­ing such titles as ​“Yel­low­bird” aka ​“Gus”, ​“Mon­key King”, ​“White Fang”, ​“Gnome Alone”, ​“Charm­ing and Pachama­ma”. Simon is cur­rent­ly pro­duc­ing ani­ma­tion fea­tures ​“Girl in the clouds” and ​“Drag­onkeep­er”. Cur­rent slate also includes live-action films, the award-win­ning ​“Lit­tle Bone Lodge”, ​“On fire and ​“Orang Ikan”.

Screen Flan­ders is your first stop for audio­vi­su­al activ­i­ties in the Flan­ders Region, pro­vid­ing finan­cial sup­port through its Eco­nom­ic Fund, infor­ma­tion and ser­vices via its Film Com­mis­sion. Via the Screen Flan­ders Eco­nom­ic Fund, Bel­gian (co-)producers can apply to receive up to 400,000€ refund­able advances by way of eco­nom­ic sup­port to cov­er their audio­vi­su­al expens­es in the Flan­ders Region.

Silk­Way­Films was found­ed in 2016 and is spe­cialised in acqui­si­tion, sales, financ­ing and devel­op­ing projects and films. Silk­Way­Films is per­ma­nent­ly scout­ing for ani­mat­ed fea­ture projects for dis­tri­b­u­tion in Germany.

SND is the film dis­tri­b­u­tion sub­sidiary of the M6 Group, one of the lead­ing TV net­works in Europe. SND han­dles film dis­tri­b­u­tion, video pub­lish­ing, inter­na­tion­al sales and film pro­duc­tion. West­deutsch­er Rund­funk (WDR) is a Ger­man pub­lic broad­cast­ing insti­tu­tion based in Cologne. We are the largest media organ­i­sa­tion in Ger­many and the sec­ond largest in Europe. WDR pro­duces approx. a quar­ter of the nation­wide pro­gram­ming of Das Erste (Chan­nel 1), the coun­try’s pri­ma­ry and longest-run­ning Ger­man TV chan­nel.
