MODERATORS & CHAIRPERSONS
Each session is supervised by a moderator. They make sure that the keynotes & panels run smoothly.
In order to help producers present their projects, CARTOON assigns each of them a neutral, experienced animation consultant called a chairperson.

Nuria González Blanco
Nuria González Blanco is a writer, director and Academy Awards nominee producer with over thirteen years of experience in the animation industry. She studied animation at Edinburgh College of Art where she received a BAFTA New Talent nomination for her graduation film “Domingueros”. Since then, Nuria has worked across a variety of roles in children’s television, advertising and film. Past projects include the award-winning short “Violet”; the International Emmy Kids Award nominee “Puffin Rock”; the Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated feature “The Breadwinner”; the IFTA winner and Oscar-nominated short “Late Afternoon”; and the new pre-school TV series “Silly Sundays”, a project she created and directed.

Milo Cremer Eindhoven
After studying film direction in the UK, Milo branched out to the amazing world of animation, gaining experience across writing, production and recruitment. Milo has written comics for Disney, published a graphic novel through Publisher Bries, and as a writer and story advisor has collaborated with various companies, schools and filmmakers on shorts, comics and series. Alongside writing he recruits artists for Submarine Animation, working on projects like “Fox & Hare” and “Where’s Anne Frank?”.

Christophe launched and headed few kids channels in Europe for CANAL+, CLT, Disney & Nickelodeon. He consulted for EBU, Ubisoft, Magelis a.o. and curates (CARTOON, APDs & Ventana Sur). He writes kids books, TV series (“Ella, Oscar & Hoo”) and movies and co-founded Godo Films (“Team Nuggets”, “Fleak” & “Alpha Two’s Dream Journey”).

Reka Kaloczy

Working as an independent creative development producer, consultant, recruiter, mentor, “matchmaker”, Réka is originally Hungarian, living in Germany. She has 30+ years international experience in 2D-3D Animation, started on the creative side (ink& paint, colouring supervisor, compositor, technical director, flash animator), shortly switched to different producer/management roles, also in VFX and game industry. She is an Evaluation Expert for EACEA Video Games.
She has a huge international network, particularly extended in Hungary, CEE countries & Germany. As matchmaker she is helping companies/artists finding the best matching cooperating partners, potential clients. As creative Recruiter, she does team building, talent acquisition, helps young talents internationally.

Emilio Mayorga Calabuig

Consultant and reporter for leading industry media, including Screen International and LatamCinema (present), and previously Variety. For over a decade, he has contributed to Variety’s annual talent selections in animation and live action at the Cannes Film Festival, among other events.
He has served on various institutional boards for film funding, including Ibermedia, Spain’s ICAA, Valencia’s IVC and Catalonia’s ICEC. Formerly an associate professor at Catalonia’s Open University (UOC), he taught courses on project development and pitching techniques for the Master’s program in Fantastic Cinema.
