Mairie de Toulouse - Toulouse Métropole

We are delighted to welcome the largest European event dedicated to animated series to Toulouse once again this year. This gathering of professionals from 40 different countries represents an opportunity for our Toulouse-based players in the cultural and creative industries, particularly those in animation, to showcase their work. Creativity and innovation are at the heart of our city. We are proud of our dynamic and rapidly growing pool of talent, with companies that have made a name for themselves through successful projects in France and abroad.” Jean-Luc Moudenc • Mayor of Toulouse - President of Toulouse Metropole

Toulouse, Capital of Music and Science

The pink city boasts many strengths: as the capital of the Occitanie region, the 3rd largest student city in France, the world capital of aeronautics, the European capital of space, and a City of Art and History.

It is also renowned for its vibrancy, particularly in the music world. In October 2023, Toulouse was designated a UNESCO City of Music.

Recognised as a major centre for the development of the creative industries, Toulouse is a region of animated films and series, with film installations and productions that are recognised nationally and internationally. Toulouse is also home to France's second-largest Cinémathèque and hosts around thirty film festivals every year.

Last but not least, Toulouse is a unique city with a rich cultural life, marked by a rare density and diversity. From 25 to 27 October, the streets of Toulouse will once again play host to "Le Gardien du Temple, Opus II: La Porte des Ténèbres", with 1.2 million visitors.
