Your pitching session and technical meeting

The pitching sessions will take place every day in 3 studios simultaneously. The aim of the pitching session is to enable you to present your project to all the broadcasters, financial partners and new platform representatives interested in your project, at once.

Duration of your pitch

Your session will last no more than 20 minutes + 5 min at the beginning and at the end of the presentation to let people get in and out of the room (30 min in total). You can save some time at the end of the presentation for questions or feedback from the floor (the chairperson will help you with this part).

Setting for the pitching session

As we have observed that the best pitching sessions are mostly done by people who leave their seat and stand up with the microphone in front of the public, the presentations are done at a high table and without seats. The high table will give the producers the possibility to have easy access their laptop or tablet and their written text.

To be well prepared

Think ahead of time about:

  • your project’s concept with the description of the characters and the storylines,
  • your project’s graphics,
  • the target audience,
  • the negotiating rights,
  • the production business plan,
  • the budget,
  • the state of advancement of the financial arrangements,
  • very important: what you expect from the people attending your presentation.

Don't forget that your Chairperson is here to help.

Extra time” corner

A special area will be set up just outside each studio so that producers can follow up with people interested without delaying the next presentation.

Technical Meeting

To make sure your equipment is ready and to avoid any technical problem, you will have a technical meeting on the day of your presentation in your allocated studio. The exact time will be communicated to you early September via My Checklist.

➤ Please be present in your pitching room on time sharp to attend your technical meeting.

Cartoon and the technical team cannot be held responsible if you show up late and don’t get your material tested.

List of Attendees at your pitch

We will scan the badges of the people entering the studio. The list of attendees will be sent directly by mail to the main producer of your project and to your chairperson after the pitch.

Feedback forms on the mobile app

Buyers can fill in the feedback form in the mobile app. It will be sent directly to the producers and co-producers.
