Letko is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We have founded the studio with a clear purpose: to help shape the new wave of Polish animation, making it the foundation of our creative process. We are inspired by the rich legacy of Polish animation and strive to cultivate its positive image for the future. Our ambition is to create original IPs that give us a distinct voice and the freedom to tell stories on our own terms. At the heart of our approach lies international co-production, which we see as an essential way of working — opening our projects to global collaboration and audiences. We are committed to building a permanent, integrated team, creating an environment where skills can grow, knowledge is shared, and world-class quality becomes our standard.
We focus on three interconnected pillars that define our creative and production approach: IP development, artistic exploration, and high-quality animation production.
Our vision for IP development is to bring to life strong, memorable characters, original narratives, and expansive, immersive universes that captivate audiences worldwide. Artistic short films serve as our laboratory of visual ideas — a space for creative freedom where we experiment, innovate, and discover new visual languages that inspire our larger works. In animation production, we take on the responsibility of delivering excellence at scale, building a versatile team capable of adapting to diverse challenges while maintaining the highest creative and technical standards. Together, these pillars form the foundation of our studio’s mission: to create, explore, and produce with vision and purpose.
Our projects are defined by their emotional depth, artistic ambition, and the belief that animation has the power to inspire every audience — from the youngest viewers to adults seeking a profound artistic experience. With ODO, we created a series that resonated with children and families worldwide, sparking positivity and self-belief across cultures. The trust and collaboration we built with our partners led not only to the success of the first season but also to the exciting delivery of a second season and an upcoming feature film. Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs and Born Happy allowed us to explore different formats, blending storytelling with visual innovation to reach new audiences. We pursue projects that are both artistically unique and emotionally impactful: works that give children a sense of power and wonder, while offering adults meaningful, immersive experiences. Our productions span a range of techniques — from expressive 2.5D animation and sophisticated compositing to extreme 2D styles — always pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. Each project in our portfolio reflects our commitment to crafting stories that leave a lasting imprint, proving that animation can be both a powerful artistic medium and a universal language of human connection.
