DIVIZE is a Prague-based animation studio working across stop-motion and 2D animation, drawn to original, visually distinctive projects with a strong authorial voice. Founded by a new generation of filmmakers, it moves between auteur cinema and international co-production, combining artistic ambition with a flexible and hands-on production approach.
Its work includes internationally recognised films such as Love Is Just a Death Away and the underwater short musical 9 Million Colors, a Czech–Norwegian–German co-production that premiered at Annecy in 2025. Alongside original development, DIVIZE produces commercials, music videos and commissioned work, approaching each project with the same attention to detail, materiality and crafted visual identity.
The studio is open to international collaborations and enjoys working across borders, contributing both creatively and technically throughout the process. It also supports emerging talent through workshops and mentoring, while expanding into technological innovation through its initiative DIVIZE Cinetica, focused on developing advanced animation armatures and pushing the possibilities of stop-motion further.
