The Hotel Albert 1er is situated in a quiet street in the heart of Toulouse, 100m from the Place du Capitole and 2 metro stop from the convention centre (a 10-minute walk away).
Since 1956, three successive generations of hoteliers have been welcoming guests to the location of the former workshops of the painter Pierre Rivals (from a prominent 16th-century family of painters from Toulouse).
Charming and with a lot of character, the rooms have been recently renovated and are either in Directoire or Louis XVI style, in warm and wood-coloured hues. The furniture, entirely in wood, has been made by a cabinetmaker.
For several years now, the hotel has decidedly opted for an eco-friendly approach, including breakfast products locally produced and/or from organic farming.
