Sabam

Sabam is the Belgian collective management organisation representing authors, composers and publishers. For more than 100 years, it has been protecting creators' rights and ensuring they receive fair remuneration whenever their works are used, both in Belgium and internationally.

The organisation manages copyright across a wide range of creative disciplines, including audiovisual works, music, literature, visual arts, theatre, dance and multimedia. By licensing the use of creative works and collecting and distributing royalties, Sabam enables creators to focus on what they do best: creating.

Beyond copyright management, Sabam actively supports the development of the creative sector through its cultural fund. It invests in projects, training initiatives and professional opportunities that help authors and creators strengthen their skills, expand their networks and build sustainable careers.

Committed to defending creators' interests in a constantly evolving digital and audiovisual landscape, Sabam plays a key role in promoting a fair and thriving creative ecosystem, where talent is recognised, protected and rewarded.
