Mairie de Toulouse - Toulouse Métropole

We are delighted to welcome the largest European event dedicated to animated series to Toulouse once again this year. This gathering of professionals from 40 different countries represents an opportunity for our Toulouse-based players in the cultural and creative industries, particularly those in animation, to showcase their work. Creativity and innovation are at the heart of our city. We are proud of our dynamic and rapidly growing pool of talent, with companies that have made a name for themselves through successful projects in France and abroad.” Jean-Luc Moudenc • Mayor of Toulouse - President of Toulouse Metropole

Toulouse, Capital of Music and Science

Toulouse boasts a wealth of strengths: capital of the Occitanie region, ranked among France’s best student cities by L’Étudiant, global capital of the aerospace industry, and officially recognized as a City of Art and History.

The city is also renowned for its vibrant cultural energy, particularly in the field of music. In October 2023, Toulouse was designated a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

Positioned as a leading hub for the creative and cultural industries, Toulouse has established itself as a major center for animated filmmaking, with internationally acclaimed studios and productions. The city is also home to France’s second-largest cinematheque and hosts around thirty film festivals every year.

Above all, Toulouse stands out for its rich and dynamic cultural life, offering an exceptional concentration and diversity of artistic experiences.

Its contemporary art scene and flagship festivals such as Rose Festival, Rio Loco, Nouveau Printemps, Cinelatino, Cinespaña, Synchro and Ciné sous les étoiles attract curious and passionate audiences from across France and beyond.
