French film "Yùl and the Snake" by Gabriel Harel is the new Cartoon d'Or
The Cartoon d'Or rewards each year the best of the best European animated short films among the price-winning films from the major European festivals.
The jury selected 5 finalists and the winner iss announced during the Cartoon Forum, the co-production forum for animated TV series. The 2016 Award Ceremony took place on Thursday 15 September 2016 in Toulouse and the winner was "Yùl and the Snake" by Gabriel Harel.
The 2016 jury composed of Producer Clément Calvet (Superprod, France), Director Mark Burton (Aardman Animations, United Kingdom) and Director Alessandro Rak (MAD Entertainment, Italy).
