1. Flights
Flights are foreseen to and from the airport of Lyon-Saint Exupéry.
CARTOON will be pleased to organise your journey for you. We work in collaboration with a travel agency that negotiates the best possible conditions with various airlines.
All you have to do is to mention your city of departure and exact name on your registration form. We will then send you a flight proposal. Once you have accepted it and returned the signed booking form, we will issue the ticket and invoice you later on.
IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING TICKETING
Please note that once the ticket is issued it cannot under any circumstances be changed or the fare reimbursed.
Cancellation insurance
The amount we will invoice you for your airfare doesn’t include any cancellation insurance. If you wish your ticket to be covered, please let us know in writing when you register for the event.
Shuttle service
If you book your travel through CARTOON, a shuttle bus will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to your hotel. This shuttle bus service will only operate for people travelling on 7 and 10 March.
Bus vouchers will be sent to you end of February together with all practical information about Cartoon Movie and your hotel voucher. We kindly ask you not to lose your bus vouchers as seats are counted on the shuttle buses. Check-in will not be possible without your voucher.
2. TGV
There is also the possibility to arrive to Lyon by TGV (high-speed train) from several European cities. Please note that in this case you will have to arrange your travel by yourself.
CARTOON will not book any TGV tickets for you and there won’t be any shuttle service organized between the TGV station and the hotels.
There are two TGV stations in the city centre:
Both stations are well connected through public transport and cheap taxi service.
