Soren spent a number of years at The Animation Workshop – a well-esteemed Danish animation educational institution. During those years he worked with among others triple Academy Award winning Animation Director Richard Williams in organizing his 2 most successful European master classes. Later he was appointed Head of the Open Workshop – a hothouse for new animation talent, where he was involved in more than 50 different projects with new talents of which one was nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007 (Looking Glass by Eric Rosenlund) and another nominated for the prestigious Hollywood Discovery Award in 2004 (Mr. Rivet by Luc Chamberland).  

Soren is the founder and producer at the Denmark-based animation studio Happy Flyfish. Happy Flyfish has produced a number of internationally award-winning short films and music videos, including the award winning first ever puppet Zombie Western: It Came From The West – a mix of old spaghetti westerns and classic horror films. Today Soren and his brother Jesper run the studio, producing commercials, music videos, short films and feature films, lately being a part of the first stereoscopic 3D animated feature film to come out of Denmark, A. Film and Nordisk Film’s Olsen Gang Get’s Polished that will come out later in 2010.
