Harald Müller (DE)
Head of Web Distribution & Consultant
SCOPAS MEDIEN AG
Harald started his career at Philips Communication Services back in 1985. After several positions in Product Management and Marketing, he became the Head of Web for IntelliVision in 1997, which produced a TV show for n-tv (a German special interest/news/ TV channel, now 100% owned by RTL) that was simultaneously 'broadcasting' the show over IP (web) as well as on traditional TV. As a pioneer in the Internet area, especially "TV over Web" Harald co-founded two startups in this field. From 2001 until 2007 Harald worked for a Nokia subsidiary, that developped a mobile video service, where he was also responsible for acquiring content worldwide for this Telco grade service. Since late 2006 Harald has been specializing in video distribution and monetization models. In June 2007 he co-published a first white paper, named TV 2.0 (in German, PDF free of charge: http://bit.ly/TV20_2007). He is currently advising TV producers as well as brands and publishing houses about which is the most adequate way to conquer this fast growing and confusing field of opportunities. scopas is Harald's client since mid 2007 and scopas' stop-motion / animated webisodes Deutsche Elf Backstage, Eckelsteins and Kanzlerkantine are the most watched webvideos in this area in Germany.
