Neil left DHX in May, 2009, but remains a major shareholder and non-executive board member of the company. He is now pursuing new entrepreneurial ventures and also consults on programme development and corporate strategy for media clients.

Prior to Decode, Neil had his own international consultancy business where his main clients included Film Roman, The Jim Henson Company as well as major European and American media companies such as MCA, BMG and PolyGram. Neil started working in children’s television in 1987, when he was founding Managing Director of Nelvana Enterprises. 

Neil has a MBA from Toronto’s York University.
