Emmanuèle Pétry-Sirvin (FR)

Emmanuèle Pétry is a seasoned professional in the TV industry.

Head of development and co-productions at Millimages for 2 years - with projects now in production (such as Diego Oasis -BBC and Canal+; Mouk for France 5, Me and My Robot for France 3 and Nuts Nuts Nuts which won the Canal+ Family competition) she has now decided to become an independent consultant to help produce the best international projects. 

Emmanuèle was born in Paris but spent her first 10 years in Boston, which fostered in her an early interest for the xenophile culture. 

Emmanuèle started the Paris office of Nelvana in 1990 and grew the office to focus on development, co-production and worldwide distribution for a wide range of children's programming.  During her 17 years at Nelvana, Emmanuèle worked on various aspects of over 30 series but some of the highlights include: (Babar, Franklin the turtle, Rolie Polie Olie, the Fishtronaut and Pearlie the Park Fairy).  In 2007, she was part of the jury for the Annecy Animation Film Festival, in 2008 she ran the first Lagardère Bourse de l’Animation selection, in 2009 she was part of the San Paolo PIC animation workshop.

She is now working on the development of 10 different animated projects.

Emmanuèle has created a non-profit association called La Maison Animée to promote quality animated short films for kids and adults.
