Who can or should attend?

The Cartoon Masters are designed for all European-based animation professionals in the industry, be they young or experienced producers of course but also scriptwriters, studio directors, heads of development, new media companies…

You are too busy to keep abreast of the latest changes in your business…
You are aware that you need to increase your skills to stay tuned with the market…
You are new in the profession and need to learn quickly and find the right place to network…

Then the Cartoon Masters are designed for you!

What do you mean by European?

When your registered office is located in a country associated with the MEDIA Programme, i.e. the 27 EU countries plus the 3 EEA countries (Iceland, Norway and Lichtenstein), Croatia and Switzerland.

How many professionals usually attend?

About 100 professionals attend each Master. This number is the right size for participants to meet individually and network in a friendly yet professional atmosphere.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your fee includes:

  • All lunches during the Master
  • All coffee breaks
  • 2 dinners: Welcome and Farewell dinners
  • Simultaneous translation from and to English and French (and German or Spanish when in Germany or Spain)
  • The Master bag including the agenda of the Master, note pad, tourist information…
  • Professional membership and administration costs
  • Access to speakers’ presentation


Your fee doesn’t include:

  • Accommodation and transport
  • Transfer from and to the airport or train station
  • Any additional meals and beverages
  • Any extra from your hotel (phone calls – mini bar – bars…)

Can CARTOON arrange my flight and hotel bookings?

Of course, we will be pleased to organize your flight and hotel arrangement for you. You just need to specify your request on the registration form.

When will I receive all practical information including schedule, detailed programme, venue location… ?

One week prior to the Cartoon Master, we will send you by email or by fax all the practical information you need to know as well as your hotel voucher and flight booking (E-ticket).

When and where will I receive my bag (including the agenda of the conference, the list of participants and the list of speakers) and my accreditation badge?

If you have booked your hotel through CARTOON, your bag and your badge will be available at your hotel when you check in.

If you haven’t booked your hotel through Cartoon, you will receive your bag and badge at the conference venue, upon your arrival at the Welcome Desk.

How can I get the speakers’ presentations?

You will be able to download the presentations from the CARTOON website (only possible if you are a participant – you will receive an access code).

Is there a report of the meeting?

Ten days following the Master, a report of the meeting will be freely available on our website. You will also be able to have a glimpse of the event thanks to the photo gallery.

In addition, once a year, a book compiling key contributions of the Masters’ speakers for the past year is available on our website (check it out on the previous editions section).
