Advanced Directing Diploma at ARTTS International in UK, Graduated by the Erich Pommer Institute in the Entertainment Master Class in TV, followed Law studies at the Complutense University in Madrid and film studies in different private schools in Spain. He has received grants from the Nipkow Programme in Berlin, the MPAA for its intership programme and the European Film Academy as European talent 2000. In 2007 was selected by Variety as one of the 60 personalities of the Cannes Film Festival and in 2008 chosen producer on the move for Spain by European Film Promotion.
He was coordinator of the Media Business School, manager in AGAPI (Galician Producer Association) and producer of several short films shot in 35mm. Since 1999 till 2005 was the Executive Producer of Dygra Films, the production Company of the CGI animation feature films The Living Forest and Midsummer Dream, the former the first CGI film in Europe. He was responsible for development. financing, marketing, distribution, business affairs and winner of two Goyas awards. In January 2005 he joined Zinkia as Head of Development & Distribution working with the animation series Pocoyo (52x11) and Shuriken School (26x26).
In September 2006 he created the Galicia based Spanish company Perro Verde Films, has produced four films since then. The CGI feature Film The Missing Lynx/El lince perdido coproduced with Kandor Moon, presented by Antonio Banderas and winner of one Goya award, the features The night that stopped raining/La noche que dejo de llover with Luis Tosar and Nora Tschirner and Lost in Galicia/Los muertos van deprisa with Neus Asensi plus the animated feature Going Nuts/Gritos en el pasillo (first film in the world made with peanuts and first day and date release in Spain). Perro Verde Films right now is producing the 3D animation feature film Wrinkles/Arrugas based in the national comic book award by Paco Roca andis also partner in 6 Sales, a Madrid-based sales agency specialised in animated features. He also owns Tigernut, a production company based in Murcia.
He is Vice President of New Technologies and Member of the Board in FAPAE (Federation of Spanish Audiovisual Producers), Secretary of the Board in Cartoon (European Association of Animation Producers) and Vice President of AEPA (Spanish Association of Animation Producers). He is also member of the board of the Spanish Film Academy, Member of the EFA (European Film Academy), founding member of the Academia Galega do Audiovisual and teacher at the Universidad Europea de Madrid and lecturer in the MPXA (Master in Audiovisual Management and Production) at La Coruña University since 1999.
