Carlos is Executive VP – Co-productions & Worldwide Distribution – at BRB Internacional. He was born in Madrid in 1973. Since his birth, his career has always been involved in animation, as his father Claudio Biern Boyd has been one of the leading pioneers of the European production and distribution of animation creating BRB Internacional back in 1972.

He is the Executive in charge of setting up international creative teams for the development and financing of animation series. His experience includes more than 20 co-productions in Spain, France, Italy, UK, Canada, South Korea and the US with series such as Iron Kid, Bernard, The Imp, Khuda-yana, Suckers, Zookaboo, Kambu or Canimals. 

Before joining BRB, he worked for two private networks in Spain: Tele 5 (acquiring international films) and Antena 3 (working on Marketing and Promotions). He studied Business and Film Production in the Suffolk University of Boston (United States) and has been recognised as an expert for the Carlos III (Madrid) university for “Business Administration of Audiovisual Companies” while being a board member of Diboos (The Spanish National Federation of Animation Producers).
