Laurent joined IDATE in 2000, and is currently the Head of Consumer Electronics & Digital Entertainment Practice. Laurent acts as project manager and supervisor for market reports and industry analysis on the rise of smart home and smart devices and services. He addresses content industry issues and especially those on games, music, interactive television services, Internet. He helps start-up companies in their strategic choices related to business models, industrial positioning, content design, technical choices. He provides French Authorities, innovation agencies and incubators with expert technical-economic analysis.
Mr. Michaud holds a post-graduate degree in Economic and Financial Project Engineering from the Université de Montpellier.
