Flights are foreseen to and from the Vienna airport in Austria. It is situated about 65 km away from Sopron in Hungary.
Do not fly to Budapest: it would take 3 hours by car or by train to reach Sopron.
CARTOON will be pleased to organise your journey for you. We work in collaboration with a travel agency, which negotiates the best possible conditions.
If you want CARTOON to arrange your trip, please indicate on the registration form:
Upon receipt of your registration form, CARTOON will send you a travel proposal (time and fare). If you agree to it, we ask you to sign and return the form in order to issue your ticket. You will be invoiced later on.
Important note about ticketing
We have to apply strict conditions on the issuing of air tickets as a result of airlines’ ever more stringent policies.
Please also note that once the ticket has been issued, it cannot be changed or the fare reimbursed.
Cancellation insurance
The amount that we will invoice you for your airfare doesn’t include any cancellation insurance. If you wish your ticket to be covered, please let us know in writing when you register for the event.
Air tickets will be e-tickets and we will send them by email.
If you reserve your travel and your hotel through us, a shuttle bus will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to your hotel.
This shuttle bus service will only operate for people travelling on 14 and 18 September.
Bus vouchers will be sent beginning of September together with the hotel voucher and last practical information about the Forum. You will be asked your bus voucher at the entrance of the bus, as seats will be limited.
The journey by bus from the Vienna airport to the city of Sopron takes about 45 minutes /
1 hour.
