Project Submission

Producers wishing to submit a European animated TV project must send the required application documents by 23 April 2013.

Please note:

Only European producers whose registered office is located in a country associated with the MEDIA Programme can present a project.
Only one project per company may be submitted.
The animated TV series project should be in state of development.

The Schedule:

APRIL
23 APRIL	Deadline to submit the Application Documents
MAY
14 MAY	Projects' selection A European Selection Committee will examine the Application Documents to make sure they conform to the regulations and to select the ones that will be pitched at Cartoon Forum (60). Producers will be informed of the Selection Committee's decision soon after that date.
JUNE
3 JUNE	Deadline to submit the Final Producer File (only for accepted projects)
14 JUNE	CARTOON sends the Producer Files to investors CARTOON will put together the Producer Files of the selected projects and will send them to all broadcasters, buyers and financial partners taking part in the Cartoon Forum.
24 JUNE	Deadline to send us a visual of your project for the Digital Exhibition Your visual should be a VERTICAL image (format: 9:16 vertical - pixels: 768 x 1360, .jpg, .tif or .pdf) and must contain the title of the project and the name of the production company. The poster of each selected project will be showcased on flat screens to form a digital exhibition in the busiest part of the Forum.
AUGUST
19 AUGUST	Deadline to send the trailer of the project (30 to 45 seconds) Format: HD 1920 x 1080 / anamorphic / NO letterbox. These trailers are compulsory for all selected projects. They will be screened in front of all participants during the Croissant and Coffee Shows.
23 AUGUST	List of investors’ interests CARTOON will inform producers about the list of investors who have shown interest in their projects
SEPTEMBER
9 SEPTEMBER	Schedule of the projects' presentations CARTOON will send you the date and time of your presentation. Please note that we will not consider any special requests from producers as this schedule is closely linked to specific organisational constraints. We kindly ask you to accept the slot you will be allocated.
17 - 20 SEPTEMBER	Tuesday 17 September (afternoon): arrival of participants and Welcome Dinner 18, 19 & 20 September: Pitching sessions Saturday 21 September (morning): departure of participants
