The bridge between Latin American and European animation industries

What?
After a first event in Argentina last year, CARTOON organises a bigger meeting between Latin American animation professionals and their EU counterparts in Mexico.
Objectives?

• expand the professional network of both sides
• improve knowledge of the two markets
• encourage cooperation and circulation of animation works between the two continents
• find new partners and co-production opportunities

Cartoon Connection is organised with the support of MEDIA International and our Mexican partner Anima Estudios, the most prominent animation studio in Mexico.

How?
The meeting will be divided into 2 parts:

• Information sessions on the distinctive markets to understand how each of them works, to analyze the reality and the difficulties to co-produce with case studies
• One-to-one meetings (10 minutes for each meeting) to get to know each other, present new projects or existing series and/or films, and discover projects from the other continent

Where?
The meeting will take place in Mexico City.

When?
From 6 to 9 December 2010
