CARTOON CONNECTION KOREA-EU
European/Korean Animation Producers Workshop

24-26 March 2010 - Jeju Island - South Korea

With the support of the Preparatory Action MEDIA International of the European Union, CARTOON is organising the first meeting between European animation professionals and their South Korean counterparts.

The 3-day meeting entitled CARTOON CONNECTION KOREA-EU will take place in Jeju island (South Korea).

CARTOON CONNECTION is a programme intended to initiate and establish lasting professional relationships between European producers and distributors and their Korean colleagues. It should benefit attending professionals, improve knowledge of the different markets, encourage cooperation and circulation of animation works between both markets.

Professional workshops with broadcasters, producers and distributors will highlight both the Korean and the European animation markets from a creative, co-production and distribution perspective.

This meeting will also allow Korean producers attending CARTOON CONNECTION to meet European professionals during one-to-one meetings.
