CARTOON CONNECTION Canada

28-31 October 2013 - Québec City - Canada

Cartoon Connection will gather about 140 European and Canadian animation professionals from 10 to 13 December 2012 in the nice capital of Quebec.

As the event is gaining momentum, this year we will also welcome game developers and publishers as well as Latin American animation companies.

Purpose?

• to expand the professional network
• to start/amplify some cooperation between Europe, Canada and Latin America in the animation business at large: for co-productions, transmedia developments, distribution of features and TV series, services, etc...

How?

The meeting will be divided into 2 parts:

• Information sessions on the distinctive markets and case studies to understand how each of them works and to analyze the reality and the difficulties to co-produce with Europe/Canada

• One-to-one meetings (15 minutes for each meeting) to present your new projects or existing series (for cooperation or co-production)

Springboard for Cartoon Forum and Cartoon Movie

Should co-productions between Canada and Europe eventually be signed, then Canadian producers will be entitled to participate at the 2 biggest co-production animation markets in Europe (Cartoon Forum for TV series and Cartoon Movie for animated features).
